Artie by Leonardo F. Urbano

Artie is a flexible platform that was used for researching
neural networks. Artie is a smaller version of the Edison
robot in every way but with every identifiable bug worked
out. Edison's brain was literally transplanted onto the Artie
platform, which features a smaller servo drive system to
save power and battery cost, an easy PC interface jack, a
control box with LCD and function switches and a servo arm
that can lift the entire sensor carriage up and down for
locating hard-to-see obstacles.
